VICI Financial was founded by Joseph Dunaway, a Marine Corps veteran with over a decade of experience in accounting. After transitioning into finance, he saw the need for accounting services that prioritize people and community. With the discipline and commitment learned in the military, Joe built VICI Financial to support local businesses with integrity, transparency, and care. As a father, husband, and active community member, Joe believes in leading by example both at work and in life. His values of loyalty, responsibility, and service extend beyond the office, shaping the culture of VICI Financial and his approach to client relationships. Driven by a deep commitment to supporting those around him, he strives to help businesses grow while giving back to the community that has given him this opportunity.
Abigail Webster
PROJECT MANAGER
With a talent for problem-solving and a passion for service, Abbie has dedicated her career to helping others. Starting as an EMT in a fast-paced urban setting, she later became a key member of the Business Office at the Syracuse VA Medical Center, supporting Veterans with care and efficiency. During COVID-19, she was the youngest operations and project manager for a mobile medical laboratory, managing PCR testing of up to 1,000 people per day and helping the film industry return to work safely.
Needing a new challenge after the COVID restrictions were lifted, she sought a way to support her community proactively rather than reactively. She joined VICI Financial with the goal of contributing to a team that helps local entrepreneurs turn their dreams into thriving businesses and achieve their financial goals. Known for her adaptability and strong work ethic, she loves a challenge - which is why she's currently part time with VICI while pursuing further education to better serve her clients. In her free time, she enjoys puzzles of all kinds, catching up on Jeopardy! and developing her skill in fiber arts.

With a strong background in both business and law, Danielle Shatraw brings a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to everything she does. A proud Syracuse University alumna with a Master of Science in Business Management, she has spent her career guiding business ventures with strategic insight and a steady hand, always focused on growth, efficiency, and doing right by the people she serves.
Known for her organization, clear communication, and unwavering integrity, Danielle is someone clients and colleagues trust to get things done with care and precision. She joined VICI Financial to be part of a mission-driven team, where her values of professionalism, perseverance, and community support align with every project she takes on.
Outside of work, Danielle is all about balance and can be found recharging by spending time with family and friends, exploring the ocean as a certified scuba diver, and enjoying a good round of golf. Whether she’s reading, crafting, or planning her next beach trip, she brings the same curiosity and focus to her personal life as she does to her professional one.
